Double Blessings:  Two Babies Arrive to WINGS

When one of our new resident's moved in on May 1st, we aren't sure if it was the countless trips up the stairs or the excitement of the settling into her new home, but little Anaiyah-Jade but was born in record time!

Mom, Casi, announced labour to Marion at midnight.  By 2:39 am, this little darling had arrived!

At 7lbs 6oz, this lovely little girl is delighting her mom and all the residents here at WINGS.

Ten days later, WINGS rejoiced again when Emily delivered a large healthy baby boy by C-section at 2:39 pm on Wednesday May 11th.

At 9lbs 3oz, Nathan is a strapping boy, a large-sized wonder for petite Emily who dutifully carried her child past her due date, the same as the Gala, to Marion's great relief.

Nathan was such a gentleman, he waited six more days before arriving. Happily, mom and baby are doing great and should be home by the weekend.

WINGS Maternity Home celebrates these May babies and their brave mothers, with thanks to all who have stood faithfully for LIFE with young mothers at WINGS.

Keys to Dream Gala was a Huge Success!

Thank you to all who came, all who gave and all who celebrated with WINGS Maternity Home at Deer Creek Banquet Facility in Ajax this past Thursday, May 5th.

It was a marvelous evening where many dreams were shared and celebrated as over 375 guests enjoyed live music and art, a lively auction, as the evening concluded with a showcase of the dreams of our students and residents at WINGS.
